Common questions
Is it safe? Do you get access to my DOT?
No. Nominating is non-custodial: your DOT never leaves your wallet. You only grant your stake as backing to a validator; you can change or stop at any time.
How long is unbonding?
28 days on Polkadot. During that time the DOT earns no rewards and can't be transferred. Fast unstake is available if you haven't been exposed in recent eras.
How often are rewards paid?
Every era — about 24 hours. Payouts are triggered automatically; you don't need to claim.
Why 0% commission — what's the catch?
No catch. We earn on our own self-stake and believe strong backing helps the network and us. If the commission ever changes, nominators will be told in advance.
What is slashing and how do you prevent it?
Slashing is a penalty for validator misbehaviour such as double-signing. We use strict single-active-node setups, key management procedures and continuous monitoring to keep that risk minimal.
Should I nominate only one validator?
You can pick up to 16. Adding WDMASTER to your list alongside others diversifies risk; the election algorithm will assign your stake for the best result.
